What has Happened?
An official blog has been posted by Google which confirms that a new “Zero-Day” vulnerability (CVE-2022-0609) has been found in Chrome browsers and is being Utilised by Hackers.

What Can Be Done?
A Chrome Update (version 98.0.4758.102) will be being rolled out by Google in the next few days and weeks.
You can also do the update manually by following these steps:
- Go to Chrome Menu (The Three Dot Icon below the X in the top right hand corner of the browser).
- Hover over the Help section and click on “About Google”
- Your computer will then open a new tab which will either begin the process of updating or will inform you that you’re already on the latest version.
